Why are the walls in the Sims 2 double deluxe blinking?
I just bought this game the sims 2 double deluxe and when i go to a house the walls are blinking red and black and everything.Ive tried lots of things and nothing has worked....i read on here that i need to update my graphics card or something....i dont no how to do that so if someone could help me that would be great!!!!i need to have a Website to download from thanks
Yes, it means that your video card cannot really handle the demands of the game. But sometimes updating your video card drivers will fix the problem. Not always, but sometimes.

As far as instructions on how to update the drivers, I think it may depend on where you have to go to be able to get the updated drivers as to what you must do. Basically though, you find the updated drivers and download them. Then, you just double-click on the download and it will install the new drivers.
If you need help locating updated drivers, we need to know which card you have. So, you can click on Start and then on Run and type:
dxdiag and hit enter. A box will open up that has tabs across the top. Click on the Display tab and you should see the name of the driver you have. If that doesn't work, are you playing on a laptop? If so, tell us the make and model and maybe we can help you find drivers for it.
To the person below me -- yes, I was going to give them links to Nvidia's site or ATI's site, or to the customer support at Dell or HP, etc. So, you are right, to update the drivers you go to the manufacturer of the video cards site or to the site that sells your laptop. But thumbs-up to you!
